Mom’s Café Neon Sign Vintage Photo
Salina, Utah
This is truly the place to eat, the best meat loaf and mashed potatoes in the West. The homemade pies and cakes are right out of your mom’s kitchen, all fresh ingredients, just picked apples or cherries, naturally sweetened baked inside the best pie crust ever made. In 1926 the building was turned into Mom’s Café and has been serving people from all parts of the world. Back in the day this café sat right on Interstate I-70 and all the bikers heading to Moab or Sturgis would pull over and gather to eat here, but some years later the interstate was moved and now the café sits about a mile from the highway, but still makes a mean meal to this day. Their breakfast is to die for and you cannot leave Salina without trying the fresh made biscuits & gravy.
This fun sign printed on metal, a tote bag, framed, note cards, or even coaster would just look great and make any kitchen feel like home. Fine art photography by Martin Garfinkel.
