If you’re interested in buying the perfect art photography for your new home or office, the western portion of the United States is one of the most beautiful and photographic parts of not only our country but the entire world. From the majestic mountain ranges of the Sierra Nevada and Rocky Mountains, to the desert spires of Utah and Arizona we have photographs of landscapes found nowhere else. Right here in the hometown of our fine art photo gallery lies one of the most majestic mountains in the country, Mount Sopris. The iconic image of Sopris rises over 6,000 feet out of town, towering over our mountain hamlet in a powerful way. In fact a rise of this much is extremely rare for any mountain in the United States. The twin summits, the mammoth girth and the way this mountain opens up into the valley makes this mountain ideal for photographs and being here allows Marty and his camera to shoot it on a regular basis.

Just a couple hundred miles away in the desert of Utah on the Colorado Plateau lies magnificent Dakota and Windgate sandstone formations unlike anything else in the world. These stunning spires are reminiscent of Road Runner cartoons from your childhood, places that are hard to believe exist. One of our favorite photos in the gallery is one of Monument Valley, the green sage running up to the red sandstone with a stormy sky ready to unleash a spring storm creates a stark combination of powerful elements. Something else you can find in the American West that does not exist in Europe or other places is the miles of open road. There is something about a strip of pavement running up a hillside cutting through a swath of pine trees that creates a sense of nostalgia for our great country.
